City of Sheffield look to defend title

The event acts as a stepping stone for many athletes with their sights set on competing at the highest level.

Last year, City of Sheffield won the Dawdon Shield Trophy to end Crystal Palace’s recent dominance.

Crystal Palace won the shield, which is awarded to the club with the best overall performance, for the ninth year in a row in 2016.

But they finished third in 2017 as City of Sheffield took the title, with Southampton Diving Academy second.

The Margaret Davis Trophy was awarded to Nigel Mills for Coach of the Year.
