About Lois Toulson

After an encouraging debut with two final appearances in the Group B age group at the 2013 European Junior Championships, Lois Toulson landed gold at the 2014 event in Bergamo, topping the podium in the 10m Platform.

She backed up that performance later in 2014, winning silver in the same event at the World Junior Championships in Penza, Russia.

Toulson sprung a shock at the 2015 British Championships at Plymouth Life Centre, finishing ahead of the reigning European champion Sarah Barrow and Olympic finalist Tonia Couch to win gold in the 10m Platform.

Having made her first senior international appearance at the 2015 European Championships, she closed her season with individual gold and silver medals at FINA Grand Prix events in Singapore and Malaysia.

Toulson made further progress on the senior stage in 2016, teaming up with Couch to finish at both the European Championships and on her Olympic debut in Rio. She finished the season by winning her second World Junior medal with Group A Platform silver.
