Matty Lee

Matty Lee is one of Great Britain’s most promising platform divers. He won Mixed Synchro silver with Georgia Ward at the 2016 European Championships while he won individual 10m silver at both the National Cup and British Championships in 2016.

About Matty Lee

Matty Lee has showed his potential with some outstanding performances on the junior international stage, winning European Junior 3m Springboard gold in the Group B age group in both 2012 and 2013.

He won his first international medals in 2014, combining with Daniel Goodfellow for 10m Synchro bronze at the opening two legs of the FINA Diving World Series.

In 2015, Lee represented Team GB for the first time, winning gold in the individual 10m Platform at the inaugural European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.

He went on to make his World Championship debut as a 17-year old later in the 2015 season, finishing 18th in the 10m Platform and ninth in the 10m Synchro.

Lee built on his senior experience in 2016, competing at his first FINA World Cup then winning Mixed 10m Synchro silver and Team Event bronze at the London 2016 European Championships.
