About Ross Haslam

Haslam was just 14 when he won his first individual senior national medal, capturing bronze in the Platform at the 2012 British National Cup in Southend.

A pair of medals at the European Junior Championships followed later in the same season before appearances at the 2012 and 2014 World Junior Championships.

In 2015, Haslam was part of the Team GB diving squad at the inaugural European Games in Baku, winning 3m Synchro silver alongside James Heatly.

Haslam and Heaty went one better at the 2016 British Championships as the Sheffield diver won his first British title.

He added another three British crowns the following season, retaining the 3m Synchro title alongside brother Jack as well as winning Mixed 3m Synchro gold with Millie Fowler and the individual men’s 3m Springboard title.

Haslam made his World Championship debut in 2017, reaching the finals of both the 1m and 3m Springboard events, finishing 10th and 11th respectively.

He repeated the feat on his Commonwealth debut in 2018, narrowly missing out on a medal in the 3m Springboard as he finished fourth.
