Torrance and Reid combine for 3m Synchro gold

Katherine Torrance and Grace Reid won their second titles of the 2017 British National Cup in the 3m Synchro.

The pair had already finished first and second respectively in the individual 1m, while Reid won Mixed 3m Synchro gold with Tom Daley on the opening day.

City of Sheffield’s 2015 British champions Millie Haffety and Millie Fowler made a fight of the final, posting a score of 269.82.

But City of Leeds’ Torrance and Edinburgh Diving’s Reid had the edge in the final two rounds, ultimately finishing on 274.05 for the title.

“We’ve only had four training sessions together, so really not that much. But we gave it a bash and it went pretty well,” said Torrance.
