Updates to Safeguarding certificate for 2018

Coaches, team managers and chaperones need to ensure their Safeguarding qualification has been recorded by the Swim England Membership team in order for them to get poolside accreditation in 2018.

As of 1 January, if the Membership team do not have proof of your qualification, you will not be able to apply for a poolside accreditation.

A Safeguarding and Protecting Children certificate is valid for three years. If you already have one, all you need to do is send in proof to us. If you would like to submit proof of a valid certificate, please email renewals@swimming.org. Alternatively you can call our Membership team on 01509 640727.

If you don’t have a valid certificate, you will need to complete the Safeguarding and Protecting Children course as soon as you are able.
