Britain’s top swimmers have just returned from their most successful European Championships ever and some of them will be heading straight to Sunderland as they vie for National honours.
The Sunderland Aquatic Centre will play host to the British Gas ASA National Championships 2010, taking place from 18th – 21st August, which will act as the final qualification event and athletes will be looking to put in fast times in order to gain their place on the team destined for Delhi.
World Champions Keri-Anne Payne, Olympic silver medallist David Davies and World silver medallist Joanne Jackson, who all qualified earlier this year at the British Gas Swimming championships, will be taking to the blocks along with up-and-coming talents such as Roberto Pavoni and Anne Bochmann.
