Collinson family - Alex 10, Dominic 9, and David 5
Merseyside
The eldest of five boys, Alex has autism and needs one to one special lessons. He can now swim two lengths without stopping, has achieved his duckling awards and all the badges up to level 3. Dominic has both an attention deficit disorder and autism, but has found swimming hugely helpful. He is on level 4 and can swim at least a length of each stroke and dive. David suffers from Downs Syndrome and has one to one lessons to work towards his duckling award. The Collinson family swim three times a week with their other sons, eight year old Joseph and Jonathon, aged seven, and found swimming helps the boys achieve many things as well as being enjoyable.
