Gold: The Flanagan Family – Megan 7, Laura 8 and Graeme 14
Lancashire
The Flanagans greatly enjoy sporting activities, especially swimming. Graeme suffers from muscle-wasting disease myopathy as well as Asperger’s syndrome, and swimming really helps his joints. He has achieved Water Skills 1-5, National Swim 1-8, 1500 meters and Swimming challenge 1,2 and bronze. Megan, who suffers from Autism, has gained Water Skills 1-3, National Swim 1-3 and 100 meters. Laura has achieved Water Skills 1-4, National Swim 1-5, 600 meters and Swimming Challenge 1 and 2.
