2009 Winner
Awarded to the Facility Operator who in the panel’s judgement best demonstrated their commitment and continuous improvement of their swimming programmes in the last 12 months. Areas assessed include progress of children through the Kellogg’s ASA Award scheme, the range of ASA products and service delivered to their customers and commitment to teacher training and development.
Sports and Leisure Management Limited (SLM) have been named Facility Operator of the Year.
SLM was formed in 1987 and operate and manage local leisure centres on behalf of local councils. They help to deliver value for money as well as having the aim of increasing participation. They are a pro-active organisation who are keen to ensure quality is at the heart of all they do. They have helped the ASA in the development of a number of products and services and use the Kellogg’s ASA Awards across all of their sites.
