In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Disability Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

Description

This qualification is aimed at those interested in supporting the coaching programme in a competitive environment.
Once qualified, the holder of the ASA Level 1 Award in Coaching Water Polo (QCF) is able to actively support a more senior qualified / licensed coach at any level, in the delivery of a pre-prepared session. This person will be expected to have an understanding of the sport and a basic understanding of appropriate corrections to common faults.
