In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Even if you are new to swimming and aquatics there is a good chance you have heard of Tom Daley and Adam Peaty. Well these aren't our only stars.

Winning four European golds and two Commonwealth golds as well as setting a world 50m Breaststroke record as just a 20-year old in 2014.

If Adam wasn't a professional swimmer, he thinks he would be serving in the Army or Navy.

Winning World Championship gold in 2009, double Commonwealth gold in 2010 then Olympic bronze at London 2012.

Supermodel Kate Moss posed for Tom's GCSE photography project after meeting on a photo shoot for the Italian version of Vogue. It was a recreation of an original portrait by David Hockney.

Genevieve has a twin sister Fleur who is a rhythmic gymnast while Jodie's dad is a golf professional.

Water Polo



Being one of the best young talents in English water polo, having played in the succesful English gold-medal winning Commonwealth team and helped Great Britain defeat world champions Spain in the World League.

One of Rosie's first coaches at City of Manchester was London 2012 Olympian Chloe Wilcox.

10km Open Water / Distance Freestyle



Being the top male finisher in the 10km race at London 2012 then landing his his first major open water honours with victory in the fourth leg of the 2013 10km World Cup in Cozumel, Mexico.

Dan has won the British 1500m Freestyle title three times - in 2010, 2012 and 2013.
