Try Out Aqua Jogging

Aqua jogging is done by professional and amateur runners when they want to keep training but are recovering from injury. But it’s great for swimmers also.

Classes last about an hour and a qualified instructor will take you through fitting your equipment and showing you how to get the most out of your workout.

Once you know the basics you can aqua jog and maintain your aqua fitness at any time without needing an instructor.

Do I need equipment for aqua jogging?

If you are attending a lesson or class then they will provide you with the equipment you need for aqua jogging. If not then you will need:

  • Water shoes: These help you get the most out of your workout by giving you resistance and motion (bare feet are not as effective).
  • Flotation belt: If you are deep water aqua jogging then you will need a flotation belt to keep your torso partially above the water while you run.
