Try Out Diving

If you already swim and have a talent for gymnastics then you may find diving a great way to boost your water skills.

Go to our Pool Finder, locate your nearest pool with diving boards and then ask them about diving taster sessions.Divers have many of the same characteristics as gymnasts and dancers, including strength, flexibility, kinaesthetic judgement and air awareness.

These qualities can help your swimming, especially if you are looking for better times from the starting block.

Besides, it's also great fun.

Who is diving suited to?

Diving is great for people who enjoy gymnastics as acrobatics can be included as part of the dive.

Generally divers are strong with good flexibility and mental strength.

Be warned though, you'll need a head for heights to take on the top boards.
