The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

Swimming in an open water environment can be an invigorating experience and is enjoyed by experienced open water swimmers throughout England. However there are many precautions that should be taken into consideration because swimming in most open water areas is hazardous with a serious risk of injury or drowning. The ASA have developed guidelines to outline the Dos and Don’ts of Open Water swimming.
