Becoming A Swimming Teacher

With its flexible hours to fit around school time swimming teaching is a great job for mums and dads to get into.

Teaching swimming is an active and challenging role and pools are often on the look out for new staff.

It is popular with parents because you can fit teaching in around your life – working between 5-16 hours a week.

Teaching assistants earn £6-£10/hour on average, with much more for Level 2 teachers and coaches.
