IoS and Awarding Body
The Institute of Swimming (IoS) is the largest provider of ASA training courses. It is accredited by the ASA Awarding Body as an Approved Centre and delivers a comprehensive programme of quality approved courses and seminars throughout the UK, including UKCC, CPD seminars and tutor training.
Our flexible delivery network provides access to courses covering a range of abilities and aspirations - whether you have just begun to think about becoming a teacher or coach or are already a seasoned professional, there is sure to be a course to suit your needs.
Awarding Body are responsible for the registration and awarding of ASA qualifications and CPD’s. We provide Approval to centres wishing to deliver ASA courses, quality assure qualification delivery and assessment, quality assure CPD’s and provide candidate support such as exemptions and feedback on examinations. Other functions in Awarding Body are the Aquatic Professionals Licensing Scheme, Tutor Licensing Scheme and the administration of the swim21 Learn to Swim/School Swimming accreditation.
