A recent OFSTED inspection report has confirmed that the technical coaching provided to apprentices by the Institute of Swimming (IoS) is excellent, delivered by some of the most highly qualified and experienced coaches in England, at excellently resourced facilities.
The IoS have produced a brand new guide for course organisers. The comprehensive booklet provides everything that is required to organise an Institute of Swimming qualification or development seminar.

Swimming teaching and coaching is an active and challenging role so it’s important to keep up to speed with changes and developments to continue to enhance your knowledge and skills. Sometimes though you may need help to develop those special skills needed to really inspire confidence, motivate and get the very best out of your swimmers.

Britain’s aquatics athletes, with dreams of competing at London 2012, picked up another accolade on Saturday 23rd January when they graduated from the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE).
