ASA attending Manchester Swim Expo 2016

This year the ASA Masters swimming officers will be attending the Manchester Swim Expo, one of the country’s biggest swimming expos to boost the profile of Masters swimming.

They hope to encourage swimming enthusiasts to join a Masters club and make swimming a sporting habit for life.

Swim Expo is being held at EventCity, Manchester from 18-20 March 2016. The event promises a three day feast of swimming activities for visitors, featuring the latest gear and equipment on the market, live coaching demos, celebrity appearances and seminars using an endless pool, along with competitions, exclusive show offers and giveaways.

Mark Foster, former Wold Champion turned TV commentator, will host an array of special guests on the main stage. Interactive coaching seminars will also be a feature and nutrition company Clif Bar will present a seminar on sports nutrition suitable for swimmers of all abilities.

“It will be a super opportunity for us to spread the word about Masters”, said Sharon Lock, ASA Masters Officer. “We have representatives from a number of the north east region clubs attending to help out on the stand and our aim is to promote the fun, friendship and great training opportunities swimmers will benefit from as an ASA Masters club member.”

The Manchester Swim Expo runs alongside Bike Expo, Run Expo and Tri Expo. One £10 ticket will entitle you to access all four Expos.

If you would like to experience the show and see the Masters team in action on stand S30, we have arranged a 50% discount on ticket prices especially for ASA Masters members.
