John’s Saturday morning wake up workout

This is my favourite wake up workout set to do on a Saturday morning to get me buzzing for the rest of the weekend.

It’s a 1800m workout and it usually takes me about 45 minutes. Hope you like it!

Warm Up

  • 8x50m using a mix of freestyle and backstroke, with 15 seconds rest between each 50m.

Main Set

  • 12x100m Freestyle swim set, taking 20 seconds rest after each 100m.

Swim Down

  • 200m easy swim.
