Stage set for 2014 ASA National Masters Championships

Hundreds of Great Britain’s top Masters swimmers have converged on Ponds Forge, Sheffield for the biggest short course competition of the domestic Masters calendar this weekend.

The 2014 British Gas ASA National Masters and Senior Age Group Championships will take place from Friday 24 – Sunday 26 October with world, European and British records expected to be broken in every session.

Six of Great Britain’s seven individual gold medallists from this year’s World Masters Championships in Montreal will also be in attendance in the form of Judy Wilson, Sally Shields, Diane Ford, Patricia Jackson, Nicola Latty and David Cumming.

But the National Championships will also feature plenty of rookies testing the water for the first time at the biggest short course Masters Championships event of the year.

Good luck to everyone competing. Leave your good luck messages or shout outs on our discussion board.
