Follow Gareth’s six-week Swimfit challenge

British Gas Swimfitter Gareth decided to put the benefits of ‘gymming then swimming’ to the test.
Combining the progressive training sessions on MySwimfit, an intense weights session and a healthy diet, Gareth wanted to turn his ATHLETIC figure into a RIPPED figure.
And he gave himself a six-week window to see the effects.
Week Three

"Swimming at midday meant we usually had a lane to ourselves but I had never really considered whether we would be quick enough for the fast lane.
After a minute or so of awkwardly staring at other swimmers, frantically trying to work out how fast they were going, we decided to try out luck and get in the fast lane.
"I like the fast lane.
"I've clearly come a long way since I started less than three weeks ago as I actually OVERTOOK someone.
