Whether it’s the snow, Christmas cooking or wrapping presents, your regular swimming routine may well have felt the pinch already this winter.

But if your fitness is flagging, don’t despair – we’ve teamed up with Sunday Times Young Sportswoman of the Year Fran Halsall to create a quick core exercise routine designed to support your swimming performance.

All you need is floor space and 15 minutes and there are three degrees of difficulty for each of the eight exercises.

And for those who don’t know the ins and outs of the plank or the superman exercises, Fran takes you through it with a step-by-step guide and picture – it really couldn’t be simpler!

Click here now to view our Fran Halsall Core Exercises Widget.

If you're interested in combining your swimming and keeping fit, why not have a look at our free online coaching programme Swimfit.
