Is your school registered to win free tickets to the Olympic and Paralympic Games?
Do you want to watch the likes of Rebecca Adlington, Tom Daley and Ellie Simmonds taking on the best in the aquatics world at London 2012 next year?
Easy question – of course you do!
But did you know your school or college could win free tickets as part of the London 2012 Get Set scheme?
The pathway for schools and colleges is simple:
- Register with Get Set
- Apply to become a Get Set member by proving you use Olympic and Paralympic values to enhance your curriculum.
- If successful, you will then receive a proportion of the 100,000 London 2012 Ticketshare tickets to be distributed across the UK.
- You will also have access to special prizes such as athlete visits or tours of the Olympic Park and will be entitled to use the London 2012 education logo on their school literature.
Lord Coe said: "Schools and colleges across London and the UK have a golden opportunity to give some of their pupils the chance of a lifetime – tickets to see the greatest show on earth.
"More than 18,000 schools have taken the first step towards claiming their tickets by registering with Get Set.
"Now is the time for them to go one step further and apply to join the Get Set network and claim their Ticketshare tickets."
