The open water season has now begun with Speedo’s Open Water Series splashing down in Branksome Bay in Poole. It continues with this weekend’s British Gas Great London Swim where over 5,000 swimmers will join 10k World Champion Keri-anne Payne in the Royal Victoria Dock.

As the weather warms up, taking the plunge in a local lido can be a satisfying dip, but why not take it to the next level and register for one of the many open water challenges taking place this summer? Swim in scenic Lake Windermere in June or marvel at the splendor of Windsor. Both the British Gas Great Swim Series and Speedo Open Water Swim Series offer something for all.
