Aquatics has raised the bar in the sporting world this week by moving its head offices into new custom built premises on Loughborough University’s unique sports management hub SportPark.
The £15million development, that opened its doors in January this year, is the perfect home for aquatics as it looks to the future, ASA and British Swimming Chief Executive David Sparkes said today.
“The new office offers a springboard for swimming to move forward towards our aspiration to be the best swimming nation in the world. Our new modern office environment provides our staff and volunteers with the opportunities to work together to take us to the next level.
"Bringing together the teams that were based around Loughborough in cramped offices to SportPark has re-invigorated everyone and we look forward to welcoming visitors whenever they are in the area," said.
The new modern office accommodation, housing a variety of sporting organisations in a purpose built centre, will encourage greater innovation and offer better sharing of good practice.
It also offers access to specialist University sports services such as sports science support, sport research and the world-renowned Sports Technology Institute.
