If you have an issue regarding poor practice by the club in relation to your child’s training
The formal procedure.
If you have come up against a wall in attempting to resolve your concerns about your child’s training with the club then you can contact the ASA Signposting Helpdesk, which you can also use for general concerns.
This is a helpline available to all ASA members who need guidance on who to approach for help and advice if they have a concern.
The helpdesk can be contacted on 0161 2731044 or through emailing signposting@swimming.org.
If, after gaining the Helpline’s advice, you still feel the club is not registering your concerns, and still feel the club is failing to meet the needs of your child, you can consider the option of a complaint against the club through the ASA.
Issues of poor practice should be reported to the ASA Office of Judicial Administration (0161 2731044). If a formal complaint is made the Judicial Laws and Rules are followed and the Office of Judicial Administration deals directly with the parties concerned.
Please note this is a formal procedure and should only be embarked upon if all other options have been exhausted.
