The ASA is asking all primary schools in England to help them improve the standards of school swimming by completing our 2016 School Swimming Survey.
This survey is to explore the practical delivery of school swimming in England, so please help us by telling us about the delivery your school provides.
Schools that complete the survey by 1 August 2015 will be entered into a special prize draw for the chance to win one of two grants worth £250*, to be used to support your school swimming provision. Please click below to complete the survey.
Taking part in PE isn’t just about getting healthy
Jon Glenn, head of Learn to Swim at the ASA, said: “Physical activity is an important part of the school week. Taking part in PE isn’t just about getting healthy, it’s also about interacting with others and learning a new skill which, in the case of swimming, could save your life.
“This is why it’s so important that we understand the current state of school swimming provision and any barriers that primary schools may be facing, and why we’re asking all primary schools in England to complete our survey.”
