Continued support

“I’m so excited to be able to go over and race and be part of the England team – and to mix with like minded athletes from other sports as well.”

Jackson won bronze in the 100m freestyle at the Swim England National Winter Championships last December in a time of 55.38.

She also set her 100m Free PB last season, clocking 55.09 at the Bedfordshire County Champs in January.

And Jackson was also quick to praise Plymouth University for the backing she has received to help her realise her Commonwealth Games dream.

“I want to thank everyone at the University – both academic and sporting – for their continued support,” she said.
