ASA synchro coaching courses reach Middle East

The ASA’s Level 1 and 2 Coaching Synchronised Swimming courses have gone international, with courses recently run at Dubai’s first synchronised swimming club.

The ASA synchro coaching courses, being taught at the Synquatics Synchronised Swimming club, were delivered by ASA Synchronised Swimming Management Group chair Jenny Gray, who is also an IoS tutor.

“We were fortunate enough to have Jenny come out to Dubai to run the courses for our club,” said Synquatics co-founder Khaled Elsayed.

“The group of seven coaches who attended the course found the experience invaluable and learned so much.

“They have been able to implement what they have learned in their sessions and use the knowledge gained to ensure enjoyable yet challenging sessions for our participants.

“We hope the course acts as a catalyst for more courses to be run and to continue to see the wonderful growth of synchronised swimming in the region.”
