Holland Trophy

Rushmoor’s Marianne Hardie continued a long list of Holland Trophy winners for her club when she lifted the title in 2008.

Having won the Shacklock Trophy for the best all-round performer at the National Age Group Champs in 2009, Bristol Central’s Alex O’Mahony graduated to take the senior equivalent two years later. She won gold in the Free Combination and Duet, silver in both Team Free and Tech, and scored the second highest Solo Free routine.

After seven consecutive winners between 2003 and 2009, Jorja Brown became Rushmoor’s first Holland Trophy winner for four years when she lifted the title in 2013. Brown walked away with a clutch of golds over Solo, Duet and Team events as well as Free Combination silver.

Corrie Leech won the Holland Trophy in 2014 after swooping to golds in the Solo, Duet and both Technical and Free routines of the Team event.

The 2015 ASA National Synchronised Swimming Championships saw City of Bristol’s Ilaria Brandimarte shine across Solo, Duet and Team events. Silvers in the Solo and Duet Free routines were joined by golds in the Team Free, Team Tech and Free Combination.

The 2016 ASA National Synchronised Swimming Championships saw Rushmoor once again win the Holland Trophy through Torrie Usher. She won Duet Free bronze, Team Tech silver and golds in the Team Free and Free Combination.

Kate Shortman won the Holland Trophy in 2017, winning the Free Solo title before going on to reach the final of the same event at the World Championships in Budapest.

City of Leeds’ Millicent Costello retained the Holland Trophy in 2019, having won it for the first time at the 2018 National Championships.
