Clean sweeps for Randall, Shortman and Gray last year

Last year’s event saw clean sweeps in all three age groups as Hannah Randall, Kate Shortman and Mimi Gray starred.

Rushmoor swimmer Randall claimed all three titles in the 15-18 Yrs age group. She scooped the Solo crown on day two before adding the Duet and Team titles, the former with Jorja Brown, on day three.

Randall’s victory was a catalyst for a successful season with the senior international team. She competed in the Solo event at the French Open in February then was part of the British team at the London 2016 European Championships in May.

City of Bristol’s Shortman won the Solo, Duet – with Isabelle Thorpe – and Team events in the 13-15 Yrs age group.

Shortman has also continued her progress this season, earning a spot on the senior international team for this year’s European Championships.

Meanwhile, Gray impressed for a full house in the 9-12 Yrs age group, teaming up with Alyssa Basinger in the Duet event.
