The ASA National Age Group Synchronised Swimming Championships is the premiere junior synchro event in the domestic calendar with all of England’s top talent in action.
Here is some useful information for spectators planning on attending the event.
- Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets will be available for sale at the venue from the ASA front desk, located at the entrance to the spectator gallery from Friday 2 December onwards.
Day tickets will be £8.00 (Adult) or £6.00 (Concession).
Three-day event passes will be £20.00 (Adult) or £16.00 (Concession).
- Do I count as a concession?
Concession tickets are available for Under 16s and Over 60s.
- What can I buy at the event?
There will be programmes available at the venue for £4 each and commentary ear pieces at £4 each or £6 for two. The commentary cannot be played over the PA system as it is important that the competitors can hear the music clearly without distractions.
There was also be refreshments available from the cafe.
This year, exclusive synchro-designed phone cases will be sold from the ASA front desk on venue for £7. Cases will be available for iPhone 5/5S, 6/6S and 6+. You can also order these online here.
- Can I park at the venue?
The forecourt of GL1 is a no-parking drop off zone only. The GL1 car park has approximately 40 spaces and is pay and display with a charge of £4 for two and a half hour maximum stay.
Visitors taking part in the event are entitled to a £3 refund from GL1 reception on production of the ‘refund’ portion of the pay and display ticket within 10 minutes of purchasing.
There are alternative car parks in close proximity to GL1:
On street metered parking is available locally (free after 6pm & on Sundays).
Additional NCP car parks on Station Road (surface) and Bruton Way (Multi Storey).
The Station Road car park at the rear of GL1 is pay and display and this car park benefits from Police CCTV security.
The nearby Bruton Way multi storey car park offers all day parking at £3.50.
Free car parks can also be found (43 spaces) in Sinope Street (behind ASDA), and on Vauxhall Road (42 spaces) behind the Olympus Theatre on Barton Street.
- What else is there to do in Gloucester?
There is lots going on over the weekend in Gloucester Quays:
Nutcracker Trail – there are 10 6.5m high Nutcrackers located around Gloucester Quays. Can you find them for a great Christmas selfie?
Magical Christmas Ice Rink – located in Gloucester Quays, open at the following times : Friday 12-7pm, Saturday 11am-7pm, Sunday 11am-5pm
Christmas Market – located through High Orchard Street

If Parents/Guardians have any concerns with their child being photographed, please complete the Refusal of Consent Form, which can be found at the ASA desk in the foyer area of the venue.
