Welcome to our U16 section on swimming.org – it’s the best place to find out how you can get involved with swimming.

THE BIG SPLASH

If you haven’t heard of the Big Splash yet, you will do soon!

We’re working with the likes of Blue Peter and BBC Sport to promote swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle and there’s plenty of ways to get involved!

For junior school kids, there’s Aquasplash – a swimming festival where you can compete in all sorts of activities to try and win prizes for your school.

For senior school kids, there’s more advanced swimming fun to be found at Splashdown – a series of competitions ranging from the thrill of mini-polo to a good old-fashioned swimming pool treasure hunt!

And let's not forget Trunx! He's the Big Splash mascot who
knows all about having fun in the pool!

Why not get your parents in the water and try his 10-week
family fun 1K Challenge at the Big Splash website?!

Any fun stuff?

Well, our Fun and Games section needs to be investigated sooner rather than later! We’ve got games, quizzes, word searches, and interviews with the stars...

And if you think you know your Rebecca Adlingtons from your beach safety flags then give our pairs game a try below.

To play simply click on a card to turn it over then click on another to find its pair. If you don't find it try again until the whole grid is complete.

Try to better your number of guesses score and time taken each time you play. Have fun.
