Do you know a volunteer that works tirelessly within your club, for the county, the region or at aquatic events? Do they deserve to be recognised for everything that they do?
The ASA Aquatic Awards 2016 offers the perfect opportunity to stop and take a moment to nationally recognise a volunteer that always goes above and beyond for the benefit of the club, the event, the members and the sport.
We all know that volunteer who is always willing to help and doesn’t hesitate to put themselves forward. No task is too big or small and, most importantly, everything is done with a smile.
The Awards welcome nominations for all aquatics volunteers, no matter the size of their role or how many hours they dedicate.
Which category to nominate for?
You could consider nominating a volunteer for:
- Volunteer of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Teacher of the Year
- Services to Aquatics
You could also nominate a whole club for the Club of the Year Award. Or if you know an individual or group who have demonstrated real innovation through a project, campaign or programme, nominate them for the David Sparkes OBE Innovation Award. The David Sparkes Award also comes with a prize of £1,000 to the winner!
If these categories don’t take your fancy, there are many more to recognise participants of all ages and abilities. From facilities to swim schools and primary schools, the list goes on.
