DUCKLING AWARDS

This Award Scheme is primarily designed to introduce very young children and an accompanying adult to the pleasures of being in the water. These Awards have been specifically developed to support the Foundation Level of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming, but will also complement other adult and child schemes.

PLEASE NOTE: The ASA recommends that the participating child should have completed their initial immunisation programme and should be approximately 4-6 months of age. However, due to differences in physical maturity, it is further recommended that medical advice should be sought before commencing any adult and child programme.
