Aquamark
Aquamark is the asa’s quality scheme for swimming programmes, developed to provide external validation and recognition for centres that provide high quality swimming programmes.
The world of sport and leisure has seen a great number of changes in recent times. As expectations change, providers of swimming programmes must continually monitor standards of quality to ensure a ‘best value’ service to their customers. As a provider of swimming programmes you need to make a difference to those who participate in your swimming scheme. Achieving endorsement of your programmes from the National Governing Body reinforces the quality of your scheme, leading to reassurance, confidence and peace of mind for both your existing and potential customers.
Aquamark has a number of objectives including:
-
To effectively monitor implementation of the asa’s National Plan for Teaching Swimming and its principles
-
To assist the provision of a consistent high standard of service to customers and participants
-
To provide a framework of best value requirements
-
To provide a benchmark to which centres can aspire
-
To audit the service and to provide external validation
