England face Scotland in 2018 EU Nations tournament

England have been drawn against Scotland, Czech Republic and Switzerland in Group B of the 2018 EU Nations women’s tournament.

The event takes place between 25-27 May in Brno and England’s U19s women will be competing in the senior tournament.

Head coach Nick Hume has selected a squad of 13 who face Switzerland in their opening match on Friday 25 May at 11:50am before taking on hosts Czech Republic at 7:50pm.

On Saturday 26 May, they will come up against Scotland at 11:40am. Their final game on Saturday will be decided by group placings meaning England will face either Wales, South Africa, Ireland or Belgium, who will be battling it out in Group A.

Sunday’s action will see the grand final when the gold medal will be awarded to the winners, with other matches to decide third place, fifth place and seventh place.

England will be hoping to repeat the success of the men’s team, who won the gold medal at the men’s EU Nations tournament in Prague after triumphing in all five of their matches.
