Entry pack released for 2018 National Age Group Champs

The Entry Pack for the Swim England Water Polo National Age Group Championships 2018 has been released and entries are open.

The Championships will see boys and girls teams from across the country challenge each other for the national titles in the U19 and U17 age groups.

Teams must ensure they have confirmed their entire squad list by this date. No additional player window will open after this time.

The competition starts in February with the preliminary rounds. Those who make it through the prelims and qualifiers will qualify for the finals, whilst preliminary round losers go straight to the plate competition.

The finals will take place on the 14-15 April at the Manchester Aquatics Centre.

NAG Water Polo Championships 2017 winners

Last year saw a thrilling climax to the Swim England National Water Polo Championships.

Sedgefield took the Boys’ U19 title in a dramatic penalty shootout against defending champions Exeter.

Defending champions London Otter were beaten by Manchester in a closely matched game for the U19 Girls’ title.

The Boys’ U17 final saw Sheffield claim victory over City of Manchester to lift the title for only the second time in their history.

In the Girls’ U17 final, London Otter defeated City of Liverpool at their opponents’ home pool to clinch the title.
