Swim England welcomes Andy Fuller as Water Polo Development Manager

Andy Fuller has been announced as the new Water Polo Development Manager and will join Swim England from 3 September 2018.

Andy has a strong background in sport and joins us from his most recent role as Managing Director of the International Federation for American Football.

Throughout his career, Andy has had significant experience of developing and implementing sporting strategy and projects at international, national and regional level.

Andy will be a member of the Sport Development team and will work closely with the Water Polo Management Group.

Andy said: “I am delighted to have been offered the opportunity to support those people around the country who play, coach, officiate and work tirelessly to deliver such a great sport.

“Within Swim England and throughout the sport there are people with exceptional skills, knowledge, experience and qualities. I look forward to drawing upon these to guide my work in driving the sport in the coming years.”

George Wood, Swim England Sport Development Director, said: “I am delighted to welcome Andy to the team.  It is an exciting time for Swim England and water polo in particular with a number of recent successes for our representative teams. Andy will play a key role in the further development of the sport from grassroots to elite level.”

Ian Elliot, Chair of the Water Polo Management Group, said: “I am pleased to welcome Andy in his new role as Water Polo Manager for Swim England. Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from his sporting background and I believe he will be instrumental in the development and implementation of our strategies, providing strong leadership for water polo within Swim England.”
