Watford to host Boys U19 Prelims this weekend

Boys U19 Prelims Solihull Manchester

The 2015 ASA National Age Group Water Polo Championships moves to Watford this weekend for the Boys U19 Prelims.

With eight of the 11 teams set to progress to the next round, there is everything to play for with Group A taking place on Saturday and Group B on Sunday.

Lancaster and Cheltenham have won this title eight times each and will take the stage on Saturday in Group A while last year’s fourth placed Croydon will fancy their chances of qualifying again after gaining four of last year’s U17 Championship winning team.

Birmingham, Exeter and Carmarthen will also be battling for one of the top four spots in Group A.

Group B will feature a re-match of last year’s final as defending champions Solihull take on 2014 runners-up City of Manchester.

With only five teams in Group B, only one team will miss the cut for the Qualifiers with hosts Watford, City of Leeds and City of Manchester’s B team the other three teams in action.
