Entries open for Swim England Artistic Swimming Combo Cup 2020

The first stage of entries are now open for the Swim England Artistic Swimming Combo Cup 2020.

The event will take place at the London Aquatics Centre on Saturday 4 July, featuring five different age groups across two divisions.

There will be a four-stage entry process in 2020, with the first phase open from 12 February to 26 February for English clubs only, who can enter up to five teams.

Scottish and Welsh clubs may enter teams during the second stage, which runs from 4 March to 18 March, depending on the number of spaces remaining.

A third phase will be implemented between 8 April and 6 May if there are any spaces yet to be filled, while a fourth phase will open from 13 May to 3 June for the declaration of swimmers’ names.

Music submissions must be made by 12 noon on Friday 19 June, while biographies must also be completed by this time.

A Royal defence

Reading Royals will defend their title in London, having produced a dominant finish to win the 2019 Combo Cup.

The Royals competed in six events, winning by an impressive 19 points with a total of 51.

They also won the Redwood Trophy at the 2019 Swim England National Artistic Swimming Junior and Senior Championships, ending a 20-year drought.

There were more than 100 routines at the 2019 Combo Cup, with 40 clubs from across the country represented.
