The Tutor Training Programme application has now closed.

The ASA Workforce Support Services team are happy to announce applications are now open for the ASA Tutor Training Programme 2017.

Last year saw 35 new tutors embark on a series of face-to-face and guided research activities and tasks. The trainees’ impressed with their attitude to learning as well as their knowledge and passion for delivery. They shone during their delivery practice both in the classroom and on the poolside.

We were also really fortunate to be able to work practically with swimming teachers on a live course. This gave the trainees valuable, real-life experience which enriched their learning tremendously.

ASA Tutor Training Programme 2017

This year’s programme aims to be even better, ensuring all trainees continue to receive a quality programme to equip them for their role as an ASA tutor.

There is one significant change from last year’s programme. This year we are only accepting applications from candidates that have been nominated by an Approved Centre.

This is to ensure we are meeting Approved Centres’ needs and ensuring all trainees will go on to be active tutors who are well-supported.

If you are not attached to an Approved Centre but are interested in applying to be on the programme, please contact one of the following Approved Centres:
