FINA World Open Water Championships 2019

Yeosu EXPO Ocean Park. Gwangju 2019 World Championships open water swimming venue

The FINA World Aquatics Championships 2019 take place in Gwangju, South Korea from 12 – 28 July 2019.

The open water swimming events will be hosted at Yeosu EXPO Ocean Park Saturday 13 – Friday 19 July.

The city of Yeosu-si is 50 miles south east of Gwangju, situated on South Korea’s East China Sea coast.

Great Britain will take an all-English squad of six swimmers to the event – Jack Burnell, Alice Dearing, Danielle Huskisson, Toby Robinson, Maisie Macartney and Gordon Mason.

Dearing, Huskinsson, Burnell and Robinson all competed at the last World Championships in Budapest two years ago, finishing fifth in the Mixed Team event.
