Introduction to Teaching Diving for Learn to Swim with Pool Time – Rushcliffe Arena

This CPD is designed to help swimming teachers learn how to teach diving entries within a Learn to Swim environment and covers all the progressive steps from teaching a streamlined push and glide, to a racing dive from a diving block.

Who is the CPD for?
The CPD is aimed at SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teachers looking to develop their knowledge of how to teach diving.

Format
This CPD is 3 hours long and will include a 2 hour interactive workshop and 1 hour pool time.

Content
During this session you will learn about:

• The phases of each dive
• The techniques involved with teaching diving at a basic level
• How diving relates to the Learn to Swim and Aquatic Skills Stages
• The safety considerations when teaching diving entries.
