Introduction to Teaching Turns – Ellesmere Port Sports Village

This CPD introduces how to teach turns within a Learn to Swim environment and looks at the elements that make up a turn and the different skills needed to perform them.

Who is the CPD for?
The CPD is aimed at SEQ Level 1 or 2 Swimming Teachers looking to develop their knowledge on how to teach turns.

Format
This is a 3 hour CPD and is delivered via Zoom.

Content
During this session you will learn about:

• The phases of each turn
• The techniques involved with teaching turns at a basic level
• How the turns relate to the Learn to Swim Stages
• The safety considerations when teaching turns
