PWTAG Accredited Pool Plant Operator – Blended Learning Only – Online

Government guidance means our leisure centres are currently closed, but this does not mean your training should stop. We have specifically adapted this course to make sure everyone has the opportunity to start their training.

This blended learning course will allow you to complete the theoretical elements online, through interactive activities which will check your understanding as you work through the content. At the end of the online learning, there will be an assessment which you will have a number of attempts to complete.

To start your training you will be invited to join your tutor and others on your course, for a webinar. This will be hosted on ZOOM and will help you kick-off your studies, introduce your tutor and familiarise you with the online learning environment.

The specialist online learning is split into bite-sized pieces, so you don’t have to do it all in one go. This will mean you can work through the course online at home, at your own pace, over the coming weeks.

We will then arrange your practical training day once the leisure centres have reopened. Your practical training will include some classroom workshops, a water testing assessment and multiple-choice exam.

At the end of the practical day, you will be issued a theory-based assessment to work on in your own time.

We run courses at leisure centres across the UK so you can be assured you will never have to travel far to complete your training.

Course fees
To allow as many people to start training during these exceptional times, we are splitting the course fee into two separate payments.

When you start the course and begin your online learning, you will only have to pay £149.50.

Once the leisure centres reopen and we can book your practical day, we will then arrange your final payment of £149.50.

Course content
This course, once fully complete, covers everything you need to effectively maintain, correctly test and restore pool water so it is safe and pleasant to swim in.
