SEQ Learn to Swim Helper CPD – Swift Training Academy

The aim of this CPD is to provide a Learn to Swim helper with the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to effectively help qualified Swimming Teachers within a swimming lesson programme. This revised CPD introduces the industry covering topics such as roles and responsibilities, learn to swim programmes, components of a swimming lesson, and effective communication. This option could be a suitable starting point for those considering a career in teaching swimming.

This CPD is aimed at anyone over the age of 14 years wanting to gain experience and / or volunteer in a Learn to Swim programme to then progress on to completing the SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) and beyond or as an alternative option before committing to the Level 2 in Teaching Swimming Qualification.

3.5 hours theory.
