This CPD course is designed to equip Swimming Teachers with the technical knowledge to deliver FUNdamental diving skills from the poolside. It covers basic diving positions, dry land practices, key teaching points and enable them to deliver the Swim England Aquatic Skills Framework Stages 8-10 Diving
 
This is a CIMSPA Endorsed CPD course and you will gain 2 points for attending.

Our CPD course is designed to equip you with the technical knowledge needed to deliver FUNdamental diving skills from the poolside. You’ll learn basic diving positions, dry land practices, and key teaching points, enabling you to effectively teach the Swim England Aquatic Skills Framework Stages 8, 9, and 10 Diving. Elevate your coaching skills and inspire your students to dive with confidence! 
   
What can I expect?  
 
This CPD course is 4 hours in duration and includes a 3 hour interactive workshop and a 1 hour practical session in the pool. The CPD course is led by a Swim England licensed tutor, please see below for the full itinerary. 
 
What will I learn? 
 
 During this course you will learn about:

 The Swim England Learn to Swim and Aquatic Skills Frameworks
 The basics of diving including take-offs and diving shapes
 An understanding of the health and safety requirements related to teaching diving
 An understanding of the skills contained in Stages 8-10 Diving
Common technique faults and their corrections
  
What happens next?  

Following the completion of your course, it will take six to eight weeks for your certificate to be issued. An electronic copy of your certificate will be emailed to you.
