Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming *Blended Learning* – Chester, Brio Leisure, Northgate Arena

The Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualification is a practical qualification which builds on the Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) qualification.

This qualification will give you the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to become a swimming teacher.

When achieved you will be able to independently plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate a series of swimming lessons.

This course is using a Blended Learning Approach. The theory sections of the course will be completed online at home. The practical sessions of the course will be held at Brio Leisure, Northgate Arena.

Prerequisites:

• Learners must be at least 16 years of age by the first day of the course.
• Learners must also hold a Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching), an ASA Level 1 Award in Teaching Aquatics, or an equivalent ASA qualification certificated after 1994.
